The Stringfield Springers brought their terrific old-time good-fun high-spirited front-porch string-band music to Stage 33, just outside the WOOL studio, in conjunction with WOOL’s annual silent auction, the Thanksgiving Greater Falls Farmer’s Market, and the greater BF3F third-Friday party in Bellows Falls on November 17, 2017. Plus they brought in a guy from Arkansas with his genwine Straddlevarious as a ringer. A couple sawing fiddles, a pair of percolating banjoleles, a thoroughly western guitar, and a cello on the bottom, with half-shouted vocals by your country uncle and cousin, all stuffed onto that little stage. What’s not to love?!
