For the first time in a long time — maybe ever! — neither Drew nor Mark can make it in to do the show. So there may be a substitute, or we may get to hear delightful music selections from the Black Sheep Radio library. We’ve turned a crushing blow into a win! Hooray! See what happens tonight from 7 to 9!
The Vermont Craft Council’s annual Spring Open Studio Weekend for Visitors is coming up on May 23 & 24, and Drew’s going to have some of those talented artisans in the studio with him this Wednesday night at 7:00 to talk about it. And about art. And about all the good things in this life.
Tune in to WOOL-FM 91.5 Wednesday at 7:00 PM if you’re in the broadcast area, or catch it live online via www.wool.fm
All the info about this state-wide event is available online at www.vermontcrafts.com
Drew’s gonna have rumbly-voiced good guy market manager Daniel Hartigan on again in the first hour, 7:00 Wednesday night. New farmers market location, right downtown! C’mon out!
Fascinatin’ regional history from the settlement days this week on Monsters & Hamsters with archaeologist Gail Golec! It’ll be a teaser for a presentation she’s giving at the Windham Antique Center in downtown Bellows Falls on Friday evening, May 15, called Peace and Conflict: Early 18th Century Interactions Around The Falls.” In those days, the upper Connecticut River Valley was very much a frontier: wild, dangerous, and intriguing. Gail’s going to be presenting her research into this period to help give a better understanding of the events that helped shape the demographics, settlements, and folklore of the Greater Falls Region. We’ll talk to her about that, and probably another thing or two that we happen to know about her.
Tune in Wednesday night at 7:00… WOOL-FM 91.5 on the air, or streaming from wool.fm on the computer.
